Athlete Representatives
Of varied ages, ability and favored disciplines, our athlete reps have been selected with the aspiration to collectively cover a spectrum of queries a parent or keen athlete may have. All can be seen frequently down at the track and are only too delighted to assist and advise in anyway they can. Please feel free to approach them at any time with any queries.
Nina Cessford
Masters: 60m - 200m
Nina’s running experience prior to May 2017 was only for a short spell as a primary school girl in the Blackhill Harriers.
Nina is a true inspiration and confirms that anyone can start running at any age. With a silver New Year ladies sprint medal under her belt, Nina continues to balance work with competing successfully in the Masters 35-39yr age group.
Cameron Tindle
U23: 60m - 200m
Cameron has been running for 8 yrs. He has vast experience in training and competition preparation to perform at the very highest level on both the National and International stage. Cameron has many accolades including World Youth finalist, Olympic Youth bronze medalist and New Year Sprint winner.
Cameron currently juggles a full-time physical job with the extreme demands of a very intensive training schedule.
Caris Brus
U20: 400m - 800m
Caris has been running for 10 years. She started off in the short sprints before moving up in distance three years ago to 400m and 800m.
Caris has competed, very successfully, in the Border Games circuit and numerous other events over the years. She has experience of balancing school work with both her athletics training and the demands of competing at District level in Netball.
Finn Douglas
U17: 60m - 200m
Finn has been running for two years. He has successfully competed at various National age group Championships and has four National titles under his belt. Finn has also successful competed over two seasons in the Border Games circuit.
Finn juggles his running commitments with school and a very demanding rugby schedule as he is also in the Scotland U16 rugby squad.
