Abby Munro, Laura Munro and Kacey Taitt all produced fine wins for the club over the weekend of 23rd, 24th and 25th June.
Friday night saw them travel to Meggetland for the City of Edinburgh Running Festival. Eleven year old Abby Munro won the Youth B 200m. Her elder sister Laura made history when she became the first ever female winner of the main event on the card, the 110m Open Handicap. Earlier in the evening Laura had also won the Ladies 110m Sprint.
Also at Meggetland, sixteen year old Scott Tindle took victory in the Youth 400m Handicap.

At Peebles Games on Sunday, twelve year old Kacey Taitt made it a hat-trick of female wins for the club and also her own hat-trick taking the Youth’s B 90m handicap for the third year in a row.
Greg Turnbull won the main sprint at Peebles.
Lots of other TLJT athletes of all ages competed over the weekend, well done to all of you turning out in the blue and white.
